To promote, celebrate and provide a lasting legacy from the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta in June 2015, Egham Museum and Egham-by-Runnymede Historical Society ran a two-year long series of local projects, events and activities that put the community at the heart of the charter’s local commemoration.
Our Magna Carta in Egham project, funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, had three interlinked strands: education, engagement and exhibition. Find the results of this successful project in these pages.
